Terms of service

By purchasing from Nicchia Boutique, you agree to the following Terms of Trade. These terms govern all transactions made via our physical store and online store.

1. General Terms

  • Nicchia Boutique reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective once published on our website.
  • By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable.
  • We accept EFTPOS, Paywave, Visa, Mastercard, online payments, and store gift cards.
  • Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. Orders will not be processed until payment is received.
  • Nicchia Boutique reserves the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors or stock unavailability. Customers will be notified in such cases.

3. Orders & Fulfilment

  • Orders are processed during standard business hours.
  • We aim to package and ship all online orders within 2-3 working days.
  • Stock availability is subject to change. If an item is unavailable, we will notify you and provide an alternative or refund.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We currently ship within New Zealand only.
  • Standard delivery timeframes depend on the courier service but are typically 2-5 working days after dispatch.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. We are not responsible for lost items due to incorrect addresses.
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Any delays caused by couriers are beyond our control.

5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

6. Consumer Guarantees & Warranties

We comply with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA), ensuring that all products sold:

  • Are of acceptable quality
  • Are fit for their intended purpose
  • Match the description provided

If a product is faulty, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund, as required under the CGA. This does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.

7. Cancellations & Order Changes

  • Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once they have been dispatched.
  • If you wish to cancel an order before dispatch, please contact us immediately.
  • Refunds for cancellations are at Nicchia Boutique’s discretion.

8. Liability

  • Nicchia Boutique is not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss arising from product use.
  • We are not liable for delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, courier delays, supply chain issues).

9. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect customer information only for order processing and marketing purposes.
  • Personal details are not shared with third parties without consent.
  • Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party platforms. We do not store credit card details.
  • By shopping with us, you agree to receive occasional marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • If a dispute arises, we encourage customers to contact us first to find a resolution.
  • These Terms are governed by New Zealand law, and disputes shall be settled in accordance with NZ legal processes.
